Radio amateurs all over the world are invited to take part in this Contest. Anyone can work anyone. The main purpose is development of the International Air Field Award (IAFA) program http://www.iafa.su of The International “Fifth Ocean” club.

Only one transmitted signal is allowed at any given time.

Counts QSO with one and the same station only made on different modes and different bands. With IAFA mobile activators (/M) counts separately QSO’s for each different ICAO code (aerodrome).

Single operator (SO) stations may operate for only 24 of these 36 hours – off times must be a minimum of 60 minutes during which no QSO can be logged. Multi operator (MO) stations may operate for the full 36 hours.

Important for activators (/P and /M): You need to give proof that you’ve worked from the QTH locator(s) of the relative aerodrome – photos, scan or photo of GPS navigator or any other proofs that you must send to E-mail [email protected] after the Contest but before sending the Log .
