Radio amateurs from around the world are welcome. The main purpose of the IAFA DAY-2019 Contest is to develop the Program of the International Club of Radio Amateurs-Aviators “The Fifth Ocean” of the IAFA (International AirField Award) and to identify the best activators of the Program. Participants need to stick to the IARU frequency plan.

Accepted is communication between hunters and activators, as well as between activators.

The emission of a single signal is permitted.

Each IAFA activator station (stationary, mobile / M, field / P) counts one link for each airfield, on a different band and with different types of transmission.

Important: for activators (mobile / M, field / P): for control it is necessary to provide: any evidence of work from the stated areas of airfields (personal photos with reference to time and place of work, against the background of airfield plates or settlements included in QTH locators, scans or photos of GPS navigators or mobile phone screens with coordinates or QTH locators, and other specific evidence of their presence in the area). These data should be sent to [email protected] after the end of the contest. The time for all categories of participants is 36 hours. http://www.iafa.su of The International “Fifth Ocean” club.

Categories:
Activators – any station operating from areas of airfields included in the list of IAFA-RAFA. Participants must make sure that they are working from the squares of QTH-locators, in which airfields are located which are counted by the IAFA-RAFA program. All questions on the IAFA-RAFA can be resolved on the official sites: https://www.aviaham.org/rafa/ and https://iafa.su/ Refinement for activators groups / P and / M. If you are in the square of a QTH-locator, where there is more than one aerodrome, only one identifier is broadcast and stated in the report. After carrying out 100 or more QSOs with this identifier, you can, without changing the position and if there is another aerodrome in the square, start work on another, new reference. Only in this case, you will be credited with multipliers.
